Interior Signage in Antioch, IL

Antioch sits at the north edge of the county, about 14 miles from our shop, with a small-business and tourism base that's different from the corporate south end.

Antioch sits at the far north edge of Lake County, close to the Wisconsin line, about 14 miles from our shop. It’s a longer drive than most of our service area, and it’s a different kind of market than the corporate south end of the county: more independent, small-business operators, less large-institutional real estate.

Chain O’Lakes tourism and marine business

The Chain O’Lakes region drives a seasonal tourism and marine economy around Antioch: marinas, boat rental operators, restaurants and small hospitality businesses. These operators generally need durable interior and exterior signage that holds up to seasonal traffic swings and, in some cases, damp lakefront conditions, along with directional signage that helps visitors unfamiliar with the area find their way around a property.

Small business and downtown

Antioch’s downtown commercial district is smaller and more independently owned than the retail centers closer to Gurnee. That means projects here tend to be individual storefronts and small office buildings rather than large multi-tenant developments: interior graphics, window and door graphics, and room identification sized to a small footprint. If you’re a general contractor working a build-out in Antioch, see general contractors for how we scope a sign package for a smaller project without treating it like an afterthought.

Schools

District 117 serves Antioch’s K-12 population. School buildings here need the same room identification and wayfinding planning as any district we work with, sized to Antioch’s smaller enrollment relative to Waukegan or Grayslake.

Nearby coverage

Antioch is roughly midway between Grayslake and Waukegan if you’re coming from the interior of the county. See the full service area for the rest of Lake County.
